All spirits and liqueurs are served per 50 ml. Grappa and eau de vie are served per 25ml. As ever, Spring does not disappoint. A menu inspired by the seasons, with impeccably sourced ingredients. Cooking is light with a deft combination of flavours. Wine is seriously overpriced. Overall - great night for a special occasion.

This particular Spring is the latest kitchen project of Skye Gyngell, which opened in October in the grandeur that is Somerset House. Ms Gyngell was apparently cooking at this particular service. Spring is in the New Wing, in the northwest corner of the complex. The main dining room can seat and is large and airy, with a high ceiling and windows looking out over to the courtyard. There is also a tree-adorned smaller room that can be hired as a private dining room.
